Who is it for?
For clinicians and researchers, Frontiers provides an advanced reporting tool that queries the database for
advanced outcome management and new care path development. This is possible because the reporting tool contains
many pre-configured queries, which allows quick and meaningful views of the physiological and event data. A complete
data dictionary is provided for the database, which makes creating new queries fast and easy using the reporting tool
or any other ODBC compliant report writer.
Simply storing data from a patient record does not mean that it is easily accessible. A great deal of time was
spent on the Frontiers database architecture to ensure that all events from the record were stored in a format that was
not only easy to access, but allowed for the creation of new events once a hospital was "live" without requiring that
the database be entirely re-designed or any columns or tables added.
